How valuable are tears in a spanking video? No, I don’t mean my tears over another psycho ex-boyfriend stomping around the set. I mean, of course, how valuable is it when the lady being spanked starts crying?
The first time a model started crying when I was filming (which was some time ago), I turned off the camera, thinking that something was wrong. It was for Clare, who also wanted to cut. You feel intrusive. But many models have explained that they are okay with being filmed crying. That it is part of their package as a model . So after years of filming spanking scenes, I realize that sometimes crying is a part of what a model brings to the table.
The latest sweeties up on Spanked Sweeties is Lynn Leona. She could not take a very hard spanking. In fact, a very mild spanking brought her to tears. Real, streaming down the face, and in one of her spankings, snot dripping out of the nose crying. Does it make the scene work? I don’t know, for some it will, for others crying (real crying like this) may be a turn off.
At least I have learned to keep rolling when the crying begins.

That is correct, Tim. If the spankee doesn’t want to cry and wants to stop shooting when she does start crying, which has happened on the rare occasion, then we of course respect her wishes and stop filming. I have heard that some production companies will not stop filming even in those circumstances. Lynn told us when she started crying that she was fine with us filming it.

Crying while being spanked can be a very emotional event for the sub and the top. Sometimes the sub connects with the scenario, or certain expressions used while being scolded, causing memories of the past to flood back.
What I really admire with all the Clare Fonda sites and the work of Cameraman is that “Team Fonda” does not artificially exploit a model’s tears.
I am sure that Cameraman has documented scenes in a scripted TV or feature film where tears are required. Like showing rain drop the light needs to come from the correct angle. If no rain is called for, you shoot in a different direction.
What impressed me watching Lynn is that her tears apparently come from buttons Clare pushed connecting the scene you were shooting with Lynn’s childhood. Yet Team Fonda had the class not to push into an ExCU the second there was a hint of a tear. When Lynn cried softly the scene just played on out.
In the Call Girl scenario in which Lindsay is about to face the hairbrush, she sounded like she was crying softly during the later stages of her hand spanking. The camera on her face side was being operated. Technically it would have been easy to move the camera position slightly and depress the zoom control, yet Team Fonda let Lindsay work though her emotions with her face slightly obscured by shadow. To me that is the classy way to handle her crying.
When Lindsay was part of EE5, she was spanked by hand and hairbrush every bit as hard as the other models. The lighting was not changed as the models moved from Alicia to Lana. Yet Lindsay’s bottom did not turn as red as the others. At the time I assumed this was because she works as a submissive and had been spanked a lot and recently.
So when she filmed the first sequence for Call Girls, it must have caught everyone by surprise when Lindsay did show classic red spank spots. I do believe that in the follow-up sequence her genuine crying caught everyone by surprise.
Recently I watched a BluRay of “Meet Me In St. Louis” Child star Margaret O’Brien cries during the Christmas song. In commentaries she is quoted as asking the director “How far down my cheek do you want the tears?”
I seriously doubt that either Lynn or Lindsay asked Clare such a question!

You are correct Angela, no one asked Clare about tears. When the tears flow, you are correct, we don’t alter our shooting plans, we just work it in naturally to the scene. But I suppose if someone told us ahead of time that they would cry and we should film it, then we might plan some extreme CUs. But that hasn’t happened yet. It is usually just spontaneous crying.

When I watch this scene I can tell Clare has to pull her punches and that Lynn is not a real spanking model but she sure is cute in a young Sarah Ferguson sort of way before Fergie turned out to be even more of a lazybones than the rest of the royals. I would say her crying makes the scene work. If Lynn could take a spanking it would be fun to see Fergie/Lynn spanked by an older woman who looked like the queen.

True that Clare didn’t spank her as hard as she spanks most other models, but she did spank Lynn harder than Lynn had ever been spanked and harder than Lynn could take a spanking without crying. So while Lynn is not or most likely will never be a spanking model, we did capture something pretty fascinating. True Lynn would make a great Fergie – though I suspect that Lynn wouldn’t want to film another spanking scene. After the shoot, I drove Lynn to the airport and we stopped to eat. She had serious trouble sitting down while we ate and couldn’t stop talking about how sore her bottom was. So again, while the spanking doesn’t look hard, it was VERY hard to Lynn.
